Texas Roadhouse Cinnamon Butter

Sweet and creamy homemade cinnamon butter made with butter, confectioners’ sugar, honey or maple syrup, cinnamon, and a pinch of salt. Perfect for rolls, biscuits, pancakes, and bread.

  • Total Time: 5 minutes
  • Yield: 8 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup (16 Tbsp; 226g) unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/4 cup (30g) confectioners' sugar
  • 2 tablespoons honey or pure maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine softened butter, confectioners' sugar, honey or maple syrup, ground cinnamon, and a pinch of salt.
  2. Using a hand mixer or stand mixer, beat the ingredients together until smooth, creamy, and well combined.
  3. Taste and adjust cinnamon or sweetness if desired.
  4. Transfer to a serving dish and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld before serving.
  5. Serve chilled or at room temperature with rolls, biscuits, pancakes, or bread.

Notes

Use unsalted butter softened to room temperature for best texture. Maple syrup adds a warm flavor ideal for fall and winter, while honey offers a floral sweetness. Refrigerate to keep the butter firm and flavorful.
