Cinnamon Apple Muffins Recipe: Moist, Warm & Bakery-Style

  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup buttermilk
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 ½ tsp baking powder
  • ¼ tsp baking soda
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 1 ¼ cups finely chopped apples

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F and line a muffin tin.
  2. Whisk flour, sugar, baking powder, soda, salt, and cinnamon.
  3. In another bowl, whisk egg, buttermilk, oil, and vanilla.
  4. Combine wet and dry ingredients gently; don’t overmix.
  5. Fold in chopped apples evenly.
  6. Divide batter among 12 muffin cups.
  7. Bake for 18–22 minutes until tops are golden and set.
  8. Cool in pan 5 minutes, then move to rack.
