For the Crust:
- 4 honey garlic sausages
- 2 large white sweet potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add sausages and cook until browned on all sides, about 5-7 minutes. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add diced onion and cook until softened, about 3 minutes. Add minced garlic and cook for another minute.
- Add cubed white sweet potatoes to the skillet. Season with thyme, salt, and pepper. Cook for 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until potatoes are tender.
- Slice the cooked sausages into rounds and return them to the skillet. Drizzle honey over the mixture and stir to combine. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until everything is heated through.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
