Ultimate Cheesy Ground Beef Melt

A hearty, comforting sandwich filled with seasoned ground beef and melted cheese, perfect for a satisfying meal.

For the Crust:

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 slices provolone cheese
  • 4 slices cheddar cheese
  • 4 hoagie rolls, split
  • 2 tbsp butter, softened

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef and onion until beef is browned and onion is soft. Drain excess fat.
  3. Stir in garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook for another 2 minutes.
  4. Butter the inside of each hoagie roll. Fill each with the beef mixture.
  5. Top each sandwich with one slice of provolone and one slice of cheddar cheese.
  6. Place sandwiches on a baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes, until cheese is melted and rolls are toasted.

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
