- 2 chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Heat olive oil and 1 tablespoon of butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Season the chicken pieces with garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Add the chicken to the skillet and cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 8-10 minutes.
- Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter.
- Add the chicken broth and bring to a simmer. Let it reduce for 2-3 minutes.
- Stir in the heavy cream and Parmesan cheese. Continue stirring until the sauce thickens and becomes creamy, about 3-4 minutes.
- Return the cooked chicken to the skillet and toss it in the creamy sauce.
- Let everything simmer together for another 2-3 minutes, allowing the chicken to soak in the flavors.
- Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and serve immediately.
