Sweet Potato Cheesecake Pie

A creamy and decadent dessert combining the flavors of sweet potato and cheesecake in a flaky pie crust.

Ingredients

Scale

For the Crust:

  • 1 (9-inch) pre-made pie crust
  • 1 cup mashed sweet potatoes
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Place the pie crust in a 9-inch pie dish and crimp the edges.
  2. In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth. Add granulated sugar and brown sugar, mixing until well combined.
  3. Add the mashed sweet potatoes, eggs, vanilla extract, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Mix until fully incorporated.
  4. Gradually add the heavy cream, mixing until the filling is smooth and creamy.
  5. Pour the filling into the prepared pie crust and smooth the top with a spatula.
  6. Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until the center is set but still slightly jiggly.
  7. Allow the pie to cool completely at room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.
