Steak Pinwheels

Juicy steak rolled with savory fillings, sliced into beautiful pinwheels, and cooked to perfection.

Ingredients

Scale

For the Crust:

  • 1 lb flank steak, pounded thin
  • 1/2 cup spinach, chopped
  • 1/4 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
  • 1/4 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Lay the pounded flank steak flat on a cutting board.
  2. Spread the cream cheese evenly over the steak, then layer with spinach, sun-dried tomatoes, garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. Roll the steak tightly from one end to the other, securing with toothpicks or kitchen twine.
  4. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the rolled steak on all sides until browned, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  5. Transfer the skillet to a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) and bake for 15-20 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).
  6. Remove from the oven, let rest for 5 minutes, then slice into 1-inch pinwheels before serving.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
