- 2 tbsp pumpkin puree
- 1 tsp pumpkin pie spice
- 1 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- Sparkling sugar or edible glitter for coating
Instructions
- Heat the heavy cream in a small saucepan over medium heat until it just begins to simmer.
- Remove from heat and add the chopped dark chocolate, stirring until smooth and fully melted.
- Stir in the pumpkin puree, pumpkin pie spice, unsalted butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Let the mixture cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours until firm.
- Using a small spoon or melon baller, scoop out the mixture and roll into 1-inch balls.
- Roll each truffle in sparkling sugar or edible glitter to coat evenly.
- Place the truffles on a parchment-lined tray and refrigerate until ready to serve.
Notes
For best results, use high-quality dark chocolate and fresh pumpkin puree. The sparkling sugar adds a festive touch but can be substituted with cocoa powder or finely chopped nuts for variation.
