Deliciously rich chocolate truffles infused with pumpkin spice and a sparkling twist, perfect for fall and holiday celebrations.

  • Total Time: 2 hours 20 minutes
  • Yield: 20 truffles 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz dark chocolate, chopped
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp pumpkin puree
  • 1 tsp pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • Sparkling sugar or edible glitter for coating

Instructions

  1. Heat the heavy cream in a small saucepan over medium heat until it just begins to simmer.
  2. Remove from heat and add the chopped dark chocolate, stirring until smooth and fully melted.
  3. Stir in the pumpkin puree, pumpkin pie spice, unsalted butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. Let the mixture cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours until firm.
  5. Using a small spoon or melon baller, scoop out the mixture and roll into 1-inch balls.
  6. Roll each truffle in sparkling sugar or edible glitter to coat evenly.
  7. Place the truffles on a parchment-lined tray and refrigerate until ready to serve.

Notes

For best results, use high-quality dark chocolate and fresh pumpkin puree. The sparkling sugar adds a festive touch but can be substituted with cocoa powder or finely chopped nuts for variation.
