For the Crust:
- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken thighs, sliced
- 1 bunch scallions, chopped (separate white and green parts)
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp ginger, grated
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 cup water
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Heat vegetable oil in a large pan over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook until lightly browned, about 5 minutes.
- Add the white parts of the scallions, garlic, and ginger. Stir-fry for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Pour in soy sauce, oyster sauce, sugar, and black pepper. Stir well to coat the chicken.
- Add water, reduce heat to medium, and simmer for 10-12 minutes until the chicken is cooked through and the sauce thickens slightly.
- Stir in the green parts of the scallions and cook for another 1-2 minutes. Serve hot over rice.
