For the Crust:
- 1 lb fresh green beans, trimmed and halved
- 1 can (10.5 oz) condensed cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 tsp soy sauce
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 1/3 cups crispy fried onions
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Blanch green beans in boiling water for 5 minutes, then drain and set aside.
- In a bowl, mix cream of mushroom soup, milk, soy sauce, and black pepper.
- Stir in green beans and 2/3 cup fried onions. Transfer to a baking dish.
- Bake for 25 minutes. Top with remaining fried onions and bake for 5 more minutes.
