- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 large eggs
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup caramel sauce
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
- 1 tsp sea salt flakes
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a muffin tin with paper liners.
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, granulated sugar, brown sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, mix melted butter, eggs, milk, and vanilla. Pour wet ingredients into dry and stir until just combined.
- Fold in caramel sauce and chopped pecans. Spoon batter into muffin cups, filling each about 2/3 full.
- Bake for 18-22 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Sprinkle with sea salt flakes while warm.
