Salted Caramel Chocolate Chunk Muffins

Deliciously moist muffins with rich chocolate chunks and a sweet salted caramel swirl.

For the Crust:

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chocolate chunks
  • 1/2 cup salted caramel sauce

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a muffin tin with paper liners.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, granulated sugar, brown sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, mix melted butter, eggs, milk, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Fold in chocolate chunks.
  5. Fill muffin cups halfway with batter, add a teaspoon of salted caramel sauce, then top with more batter.
  6. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Let cool before serving.

Notes
