For the Crust:
- 3 ripe bananas, mashed
- 1/3 cup melted butter
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup salted caramel sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon sea salt for topping
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
- In a large bowl, mix mashed bananas, melted butter, sugar, egg, and vanilla extract.
- In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add to the banana mixture and stir until just combined.
- Pour half the batter into the prepared loaf pan. Drizzle half the salted caramel sauce over the batter. Repeat with remaining batter and caramel.
- Use a knife to swirl the caramel into the batter. Sprinkle sea salt on top.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Cool before slicing.
