Salted Caramel Apple Mini Pies

Delicious individual apple pies with gooey salted caramel filling, perfect for fall gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 2 pre-made pie crusts
  • 3 medium apples, peeled and diced
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/4 cup salted caramel sauce
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • Coarse sea salt for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a muffin tin.
  2. Roll out pie crusts and cut into circles to fit muffin tin cups.
  3. Mix apples, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, caramel sauce, and lemon juice in a bowl.
  4. Press crust circles into muffin tin, fill with apple mixture, and top with remaining crust circles.
  5. Brush tops with beaten egg, sprinkle with sea salt, and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden.
