- 2 pre-made pie crusts
- 3 medium apples, peeled and diced
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- 1/4 cup salted caramel sauce
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 egg, beaten
- Coarse sea salt for topping
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a muffin tin.
- Roll out pie crusts and cut into circles to fit muffin tin cups.
- Mix apples, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, caramel sauce, and lemon juice in a bowl.
- Press crust circles into muffin tin, fill with apple mixture, and top with remaining crust circles.
- Brush tops with beaten egg, sprinkle with sea salt, and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden.
