S’mores Cupcakes

Delicious cupcakes inspired by the classic campfire treat, featuring graham cracker crust, chocolate cake, and toasted marshmallow frosting.

For the Crust:

  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/3 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 tbsp vinegar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups mini marshmallows
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a muffin tin with cupcake liners.
  2. Mix graham cracker crumbs with melted butter. Press 1 tbsp mixture into each liner to form crust.
  3. Whisk flour, sugar, cocoa, baking soda, and salt in a bowl. Add water, oil, vinegar, and vanilla. Mix until smooth.
  4. Pour batter over graham crusts, filling 3/4 full. Bake for 18-20 minutes.
  5. Remove cupcakes and immediately top with marshmallows and chocolate chips. Return to oven for 2 minutes to melt.
  6. Let cool before serving.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
