Refreshing Southern Pineapple Orange Swirl Cheesecake

A creamy, tropical-inspired cheesecake with swirls of pineapple and orange for a refreshing Southern twist.

For the Crust:

  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 3 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup crushed pineapple, drained
  • 1/4 cup orange juice
  • 1 tbsp orange zest
  • 1/2 cup sour cream

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F (165°C). Mix graham cracker crumbs and melted butter, then press into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan.
  2. In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, then mix in vanilla and sour cream.
  3. Divide the batter into two bowls. Stir crushed pineapple into one half and orange juice with zest into the other.
  4. Alternate spoonfuls of pineapple and orange batter over the crust. Use a knife to gently swirl the batters together.
  5. Bake for 45-50 minutes until the center is set. Let cool, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
