Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In a large bowl, cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in egg, vanilla, and red food coloring.
  4. Gradually mix in the dry ingredients until just combined. Fold in chocolate chunks.
  5. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing 2 inches apart. Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are set.
