For the Crust:
- 1 box red velvet cake mix
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 3 large eggs
- 16 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a Bundt pan thoroughly.
- In a large bowl, mix red velvet cake mix, water, oil, and eggs until smooth.
- In another bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until creamy.
- Pour half the red velvet batter into the Bundt pan. Spoon cream cheese mixture over batter, then top with remaining batter.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool in pan for 15 minutes before inverting.
- Melt chocolate chips and drizzle over cooled cake before serving.
