For the Crust:
- 1 box spice cake mix
- 1 can (15 oz) pumpkin puree
- 2 large eggs
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 cup chopped pecans (optional)
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
- In a large bowl, mix cake mix, pumpkin puree, eggs, and oil until well combined. Spread half the batter into the prepared pan.
- In a small bowl, mix honey, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Drizzle half over the batter in the pan. Spread remaining batter over top, then drizzle with remaining honey mixture. Swirl gently with a knife. Sprinkle with pecans if using.
- Bake for 28-32 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Let cool slightly before serving.
