For the Crust:

  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
  • 1/2 cup crumbled blue cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1 tbsp fresh thyme leaves
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Roll out the puff pastry sheet on a lightly floured surface. Brush with melted butter.
  3. Sprinkle blue cheese, walnuts, thyme, and black pepper evenly over the pastry.
  4. Roll the pastry tightly into a log, then slice into 1-inch thick rounds.
  5. Place the rounds on the baking sheet, slightly apart. Brush with egg wash.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and puffed. Serve warm.
