For the Crust:
- 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
- 1/2 cup crumbled blue cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped walnuts
- 1 tbsp fresh thyme leaves
- 2 tbsp melted butter
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Roll out the puff pastry sheet on a lightly floured surface. Brush with melted butter.
- Sprinkle blue cheese, walnuts, thyme, and black pepper evenly over the pastry.
- Roll the pastry tightly into a log, then slice into 1-inch thick rounds.
- Place the rounds on the baking sheet, slightly apart. Brush with egg wash.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and puffed. Serve warm.
