  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened to room temperature
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 8 ounces whipped topping (Cool Whip), thawed
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar (for topping)
  • 1 tablespoon peanut butter (for crumbs topping, optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and peanut butter using an electric mixer on low speed until smooth and creamy, scraping the sides of the bowl as needed.
  2. Gradually add 1 cup powdered sugar and mix until fully combined. The mixture should be creamy without lumps.
  3. Gently fold in 1.5 cups of the whipped topping just until combined.
  4. Pour the filling into the prepared pie crust and spread evenly.
  5. Spread the remaining whipped topping over the top.
  6. For the optional peanut butter crumbs topping: In a small bowl, use a fork to cut 1 tablespoon peanut butter into 2 tablespoons powdered sugar until crumbs form. Sprinkle over the top.
  7. Chill for a minimum of 2 hours or overnight before serving.

Notes
