One-Pan Cheesy Meat & Potato Skillet

A hearty and comforting skillet meal with seasoned ground beef, tender potatoes, and melted cheese, all cooked in one pan for easy cleanup.

For the Crust:

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 large onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 medium potatoes, cubed
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp dried thyme
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Brown ground beef with onion and garlic in a large skillet over medium heat, breaking it up as it cooks.
  2. Add cubed potatoes, beef broth, paprika, thyme, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine.
  3. Cover and simmer for 20-25 minutes, until potatoes are tender, stirring occasionally.
  4. Sprinkle shredded cheese over the top, cover, and let melt for 2-3 minutes. Garnish with parsley before serving.
