Nutella Puff Pastry Tart with Fresh Berries

A flaky puff pastry tart swirled with Nutella and topped with fresh mixed berries.

  • Total Time: 30 minutes
  • Yield: 4 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
  • 1/2 cup Nutella, plus extra for drizzling
  • 1 cup mixed fresh berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon sliced almonds (optional)
  • Powdered sugar, for dusting
  • Fresh mint leaves, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Roll out the puff pastry on the prepared sheet and score a 1-inch border around the edges without cutting all the way through.
  3. Spread the Nutella evenly over the center of the pastry, staying inside the scored border.
  4. Arrange the fresh berries on top of the Nutella layer.
  5. Brush the border with the beaten egg and sprinkle with granulated sugar and sliced almonds, if using.
  6. Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until the pastry is puffed and deep golden brown.
  7. Let the tart cool for 5 minutes, then drizzle with extra Nutella and dust with powdered sugar.
  8. Garnish with fresh mint, slice, and serve warm.

Notes

For neat slices, let the tart cool for 10 minutes before cutting. Swap in seasonal fruit like sliced peaches or figs when berries aren’t in season.
