For the Crust:
- 1 9-inch prepared chocolate cookie crust
- 1 8 oz package cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 8 oz container frozen whipped topping, thawed
- 1 8 oz Hershey’s chocolate syrup
- Additional whipped topping and chocolate shavings for garnish (optional)
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar together until smooth and well combined.
- Gradually beat in the Hershey’s chocolate syrup until fully incorporated and the mixture is uniform in color.
- Gently fold in the thawed whipped topping until no white streaks remain.
- Spoon the filling into the prepared chocolate cookie crust and spread evenly.
- Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or until firm. Garnish with additional whipped topping and chocolate shavings before serving if desired.
