MouthWatering Strawberry Cheesecake French Toast

A decadent breakfast or brunch dish featuring creamy cheesecake filling and fresh strawberries stuffed inside thick French toast, cooked to golden perfection.

For the Crust:

  • 8 slices thick brioche or challah bread
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, diced
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • Maple syrup and additional strawberries for serving

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. In a bowl, mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Fold in diced strawberries.
  2. Spread the cream cheese mixture on 4 slices of bread. Top with remaining slices to make 4 sandwiches.
  3. Whisk together eggs, milk, and cinnamon in a shallow dish.
  4. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Dip each sandwich in the egg mixture, coating both sides.
  5. Cook sandwiches for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through. Serve warm with maple syrup and extra strawberries.
