For the Crust:
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 4 oz semi-sweet chocolate, chopped
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 large egg yolks
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 2 tbsp granulated sugar
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Grease 8 muffin cups or line with parchment paper.
- Melt butter and chocolate in a double boiler, stirring until smooth. Remove from heat and whisk in powdered sugar.
- Beat in eggs, egg yolks, and vanilla extract. Stir in flour until just combined.
- In a separate bowl, whip heavy cream, cream cheese, and granulated sugar until smooth.
- Fill each muffin cup halfway with chocolate batter. Add 1 tbsp of creamy filling, then top with more chocolate batter.
- Bake for 12-14 minutes until edges are set but centers are still soft. Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
