For the Crust:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 32 oz frozen tater tots
- 8 slices American cheese, quartered
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup mustard
- 1/4 cup diced pickles
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Arrange tater tots in a single layer on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes until crispy.
- In a bowl, mix ground beef with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Form into 32 small patties.
- Cook patties in a skillet over medium heat for 2-3 minutes per side until browned and cooked through.
- Assemble each mini burger by placing a cooked patty between two tater tots. Add a quarter slice of cheese, a dab of ketchup, mustard, and a few diced pickles.
- Secure with toothpicks if needed and serve warm.
