Mini Tater Tot Cheeseburgers

A fun and delicious twist on classic cheeseburgers, using crispy tater tots as the bun.

Ingredients

Scale

For the Crust:

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 package (32 oz) frozen tater tots
  • 4 slices cheddar cheese, cut into small squares
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup mustard
  • 1/4 cup diced pickles

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Arrange tater tots on a baking sheet in pairs (for top and bottom buns) and bake according to package instructions until crispy.
  2. In a bowl, mix ground beef with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Form into small patties (about 1.5 inches in diameter).
  3. Cook patties in a skillet over medium heat for 2-3 minutes per side or until fully cooked. Place a small square of cheese on each patty to melt.
  4. Assemble the mini burgers by placing a patty between two tater tots. Secure with a toothpick if needed.
  5. Serve with ketchup, mustard, and diced pickles on the side.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
