For the Crust:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 package (32 oz) frozen tater tots
- 4 slices cheddar cheese, cut into small squares
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup mustard
- 1/4 cup diced pickles
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Arrange tater tots on a baking sheet in pairs (for top and bottom buns) and bake according to package instructions until crispy.
- In a bowl, mix ground beef with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Form into small patties (about 1.5 inches in diameter).
- Cook patties in a skillet over medium heat for 2-3 minutes per side or until fully cooked. Place a small square of cheese on each patty to melt.
- Assemble the mini burgers by placing a patty between two tater tots. Secure with a toothpick if needed.
- Serve with ketchup, mustard, and diced pickles on the side.
