For the Crust:
- 3 cups white chocolate chips
- 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup chopped maraschino cherries, drained and patted dry
- 1/4 tsp almond extract (optional)
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Line an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper, leaving an overhang for easy removal.
- In a medium saucepan, combine white chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and butter. Heat over low heat, stirring constantly, until fully melted and smooth.
- Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract and almond extract (if using).
- Fold in the chopped maraschino cherries until evenly distributed.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until firm. Cut into squares before serving.
