Luscious Walnut Banana Cake

A moist and flavorful banana cake loaded with crunchy walnuts, perfect for any occasion.

For the Crust:

  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1/4 cup milk

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9-inch cake pan.
  2. In a bowl, cream together butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla and mashed bananas.
  3. In another bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually mix into the banana mixture, alternating with milk. Fold in chopped walnuts.
  4. Pour batter into the prepared pan. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  5. Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
