Irresistible Summer Peach Cake

A moist and fluffy cake bursting with fresh summer peaches, perfect for any occasion.

For the Crust:

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3 ripe peaches, peeled and sliced

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9-inch round cake pan.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla.
  3. Combine flour, baking powder, and salt in a separate bowl. Gradually add to the wet mixture, alternating with milk.
  4. Fold in half of the sliced peaches. Pour batter into the prepared pan and arrange remaining peach slices on top.
  5. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Let cool before serving.
