For the Crust:
- 1 lb lump crab meat
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp Old Bay seasoning
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
- 2 tbsp butter (for frying)
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- In a large bowl, gently mix crab meat, breadcrumbs, mayonnaise, egg, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, Old Bay seasoning, salt, pepper, and parsley.
- Form the mixture into 4-6 evenly sized patties.
- Heat butter in a skillet over medium heat.
- Cook crab cakes for 3-4 minutes per side or until golden brown and heated through.
- Serve warm with lemon wedges and tartar sauce.
