For the Crust:
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1 large egg
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp ground cinnamon
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tbsp milk
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, cream together butter, cream cheese, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in egg and vanilla.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add to wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Scoop dough into 1-inch balls. Roll each ball in cinnamon to coat lightly. Place on prepared sheets 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are lightly golden. Cool on sheets for 5 minutes, then transfer to wire rack.
- Whisk powdered sugar and milk to make glaze. Drizzle over cooled cookies and let set.
