Irresistible Cinnamon Cream Cheese Cookies

Soft, chewy cookies with a rich cream cheese base and a warm cinnamon swirl, topped with a sweet glaze.

For the Crust:

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp milk

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together butter, cream cheese, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in egg and vanilla.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add to wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  4. Scoop dough into 1-inch balls. Roll each ball in cinnamon to coat lightly. Place on prepared sheets 2 inches apart.
  5. Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are lightly golden. Cool on sheets for 5 minutes, then transfer to wire rack.
  6. Whisk powdered sugar and milk to make glaze. Drizzle over cooled cookies and let set.
