  • 2 cups all-purpose flour

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup buttermilk
  • 1 1/2 cups diced apples
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce (for drizzling)

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a muffin tin with paper liners.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
  3. In another bowl, mix melted butter, brown sugar, eggs, vanilla, and buttermilk until smooth.
  4. Gently fold dry ingredients into wet mixture, then stir in diced apples.
  5. Divide batter evenly among muffin cups and bake for 18-20 minutes until golden.
  6. Cool muffins for 5 minutes, then drizzle with warm caramel sauce before serving.
