Ingredients
Scale
- 12 large eggs
- 1/2 lb medium shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1/4 cup hot honey
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tsp lemon pepper seasoning
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tsp apple cider vinegar
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Paprika, chives, and lemon zest for garnish
Instructions
- Place eggs in a saucepan, cover with water, bring to a boil, then simmer for 10 minutes. Cool in ice water, peel, halve lengthwise, and remove yolks to a bowl.
- Mash yolks with mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, apple cider vinegar, salt, and pepper until smooth. Spoon or pipe into egg white halves and chill.
- In a skillet over medium heat, melt butter, add shrimp and lemon pepper seasoning, cook 2-3 minutes until pink. Toss with hot honey until coated. Top each deviled egg with a shrimp and garnish with paprika, chives, and lemon zest.
Notes
For extra crunch, lightly bread and fry shrimp before saucing. Adjust hot honey for spice level. Make ahead: prepare eggs and shrimp separately, assemble just before serving.
