Hot Honey Shrimp Deviled Eggs

Crispy shrimp tossed in spicy hot honey sauce atop creamy deviled eggs for a bold appetizer fusion of sweet heat and classic comfort.

  • Total Time: 35 minutes
  • Yield: 12 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 large eggs
  • 1/2 lb medium shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1/4 cup hot honey
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp lemon pepper seasoning
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp apple cider vinegar
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Paprika, chives, and lemon zest for garnish

Instructions

  1. Place eggs in a saucepan, cover with water, bring to a boil, then simmer for 10 minutes. Cool in ice water, peel, halve lengthwise, and remove yolks to a bowl.
  2. Mash yolks with mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, apple cider vinegar, salt, and pepper until smooth. Spoon or pipe into egg white halves and chill.
  3. In a skillet over medium heat, melt butter, add shrimp and lemon pepper seasoning, cook 2-3 minutes until pink. Toss with hot honey until coated. Top each deviled egg with a shrimp and garnish with paprika, chives, and lemon zest.

Notes

For extra crunch, lightly bread and fry shrimp before saucing. Adjust hot honey for spice level. Make ahead: prepare eggs and shrimp separately, assemble just before serving.
