For the Crust:
- 4 large sweet onions, thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, toss the sliced onions with melted butter, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- Spread the onion mixture evenly in a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Sprinkle cheddar and mozzarella cheeses over the onions.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the onions are tender and the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Remove from oven and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and fresh parsley before serving.
