Homemade Salmon Soup – Omega-3 Rich Recipe

A nourishing and flavorful salmon soup packed with omega-3 fatty acids, fresh vegetables, and aromatic herbs.

For the Crust:

  • 1 lb fresh salmon fillet, skin removed and cut into chunks
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 carrots, sliced
  • 2 celery stalks, chopped
  • 4 cups fish or vegetable broth
  • 1 cup coconut milk
  • 1 tsp dried dill
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add onion, carrots, and celery, and sauté for 5 minutes until softened.
  2. Pour in the broth and bring to a simmer. Add dried dill, paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook for 10 minutes until vegetables are tender.
  3. Gently add salmon chunks to the pot and simmer for 5-7 minutes until salmon is cooked through.
  4. Stir in coconut milk and heat through without boiling. Adjust seasoning if needed.
  5. Ladle into bowls, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve warm.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
