For the Crust:
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup raspberry jam
- 1 tablespoon powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Gradually mix in flour and salt until dough forms.
- Roll dough into a rectangle on floured surface. Spread raspberry jam evenly over dough.
- Roll dough tightly into a log, wrap in plastic, and chill for 2 hours. Slice into 1/2-inch rounds and bake at 350°F for 12-15 minutes until edges are golden.
