Heavenly Peach Cobbler Poke Cake

A delicious and moist cake infused with peach flavors and topped with a cobbler-inspired crumble.

For the Crust:

  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 can (15 oz) peach pie filling
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1 cup whipped cream or vanilla ice cream (optional)

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, mix cake mix, water, oil, and eggs until smooth. Pour batter into the prepared dish.
  3. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Let cool for 10 minutes.
  4. Use the handle of a wooden spoon to poke holes all over the cake. Spoon peach pie filling over the cake, spreading evenly to fill the holes.
  5. In a medium bowl, mix melted butter, flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg until crumbly. Sprinkle evenly over the cake.
  6. Bake for another 10-15 minutes or until the topping is golden brown. Let cool slightly before serving.
  7. Serve warm with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream if desired.
