For the Crust:
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 4 large eggs
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
- Powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a muffin tin.
- In a saucepan, bring water and butter to a boil. Remove from heat and stir in flour, salt, and sugar until a dough forms.
- Let the dough cool slightly, then beat in eggs one at a time until smooth.
- Spoon the dough into the prepared muffin tin, filling each cup halfway.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until puffed and golden. Do not open the oven during baking.
- Remove from oven, let cool slightly, then dust with powdered sugar before serving.
