For the Crust:
- 1 1/2 cups chocolate cookie crumbs
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup caramel sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
- Whipped cream for garnish
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Mix chocolate cookie crumbs and melted butter, then press into a 9-inch pie dish. Bake for 10 minutes, then let cool.
- Warm the caramel sauce slightly and pour it over the cooled crust. Sprinkle with sea salt.
- Heat heavy cream until steaming, then pour over chocolate chips. Let sit for 2 minutes, then stir until smooth. Pour over caramel layer. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving. Garnish with whipped cream.
