Gooey Caramel Chocolate Pie

A decadent dessert featuring a rich chocolate crust filled with luscious caramel and topped with a silky chocolate ganache.

For the Crust:

  • 1 1/2 cups chocolate cookie crumbs
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup caramel sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
  • Whipped cream for garnish

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Mix chocolate cookie crumbs and melted butter, then press into a 9-inch pie dish. Bake for 10 minutes, then let cool.
  2. Warm the caramel sauce slightly and pour it over the cooled crust. Sprinkle with sea salt.
  3. Heat heavy cream until steaming, then pour over chocolate chips. Let sit for 2 minutes, then stir until smooth. Pour over caramel layer. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving. Garnish with whipped cream.
