For the Crust:
- 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup caramel sauce
- 2 cups crispy rice cereal
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, mix melted butter and graham cracker crumbs until combined. Press evenly into the prepared pan.
- Sprinkle chocolate chips over the crust, then drizzle caramel sauce evenly on top.
- Bake for 15 minutes until caramel is bubbly. Remove from oven and let cool slightly.
- Sprinkle crispy rice cereal and chopped nuts (if using) over the top, pressing lightly to adhere.
- Let cool completely before cutting into bars.
