Gooey Caramel Chocolate Crunch Bars

Decadent bars with layers of caramel, chocolate, and crispy cereal for the perfect sweet treat.

For the Crust:

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup caramel sauce
  • 2 cups crispy rice cereal
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, mix melted butter and graham cracker crumbs until combined. Press evenly into the prepared pan.
  3. Sprinkle chocolate chips over the crust, then drizzle caramel sauce evenly on top.
  4. Bake for 15 minutes until caramel is bubbly. Remove from oven and let cool slightly.
  5. Sprinkle crispy rice cereal and chopped nuts (if using) over the top, pressing lightly to adhere.
  6. Let cool completely before cutting into bars.
