Garlic Butter Lettuce, Tomato & Grilled Chicken Sandwich

A flavorful and juicy grilled chicken sandwich with fresh lettuce, tomato, and a rich garlic butter spread.

For the Crust:

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 4 slices of whole grain bread
  • 1 large tomato, sliced
  • 1 cup fresh lettuce leaves
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
  2. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then brush with olive oil.
  3. Grill chicken for 6-7 minutes per side or until fully cooked. Let rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
  4. Mix softened butter and minced garlic in a small bowl to make the garlic butter spread.
  5. Toast the bread slices lightly if desired.
  6. Spread garlic butter on each slice of bread, then layer with lettuce, tomato, and sliced grilled chicken.
  7. Assemble the sandwiches and serve immediately.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
