  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/4 cup sugar

  • Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. In a bowl, mix flour, cornstarch, water, sugar, and salt to form a smooth batter.
  2. Dip each pineapple ring into the batter, ensuring it is fully coated.
  3. Press the battered pineapple into the shredded coconut, coating both sides evenly.
  4. Heat vegetable oil in a deep pan over medium heat.
  5. Fry the coated pineapple rings until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  6. Remove from oil and drain on paper towels. Serve warm.
