Easy Roasted Pears with Blue Cheese, Walnuts and Honey

A simple yet elegant appetizer featuring roasted pears topped with creamy blue cheese, crunchy walnuts, and a drizzle of honey.

For the Crust:

  • 2 ripe but firm pears, halved and cored
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/4 cup crumbled blue cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped walnuts
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Place pear halves on the baking sheet, cut side up. Drizzle with olive oil and season lightly with salt and pepper.
  3. Roast pears for 20-25 minutes until tender but still holding their shape.
  4. Remove from oven and let cool slightly. Top each pear half with blue cheese and walnuts.
  5. Drizzle with honey and serve warm or at room temperature.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
