For the Crust:
- 2 ripe but firm pears, halved and cored
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 oz blue cheese, crumbled
- 1/4 cup walnuts, roughly chopped
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- Fresh thyme leaves for garnish (optional)
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Place pear halves cut side up on the baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil and roast for 20-25 minutes until tender.
- Remove pears from oven and let cool slightly. Top each pear half with blue cheese crumbles and walnuts.
- Drizzle with honey and sprinkle with black pepper. Garnish with fresh thyme if desired.
- Serve warm as an appetizer or dessert.

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
