Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, combine chili powder, cumin, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Mix well until all spices are evenly blended.
  3. Use immediately or store in an airtight container for up to 6 months.
  4. To use, add 2 tablespoons of seasoning per pound of meat or vegetables with 1/4 cup water, cooking until the mixture thickens.

Notes

This seasoning blend is versatile and can be adjusted to taste by increasing or decreasing the heat with more or less red pepper flakes. Store in a cool, dry place for best freshness.
